Ikariam Scripts
Kronos Utils is a Greasemonkey script for Firefox that changes the user interface for Ikariam in many useful ways. You can participate in feautres discussion on userscripts.org page.
The script is a little more advanced than GM scripts usually are; it tries to understand (and get an overall view of) what happens in the game as you play it (by peeking over your shoulder, so to speak — it peeks at all views you bring up in the game, while it improves a thing here and there), rather than bashing the servers with http requests, as soon as it needs some piece of data. This means that you should start with a tour to your library (there is a link to it in the left pane of your Academy), just after installing it:

As you probably note, the view has been combined up a bit into a tech tree, where the vertical line shows how far into the tree you are now. Adjacent techs can be researched right away by choosing the appropriate category, techs farther to the right depend on prior advances. Hover a name to see all its prerequisites get checked, and a tool tip about how many Research Points they will take to get to, cumulatively. (You can filter the view to only show unresearched advances by clicking the header. This is useful if you don’t have a large enough screen to see the entire list in one go; chances are you’ll get a better overview with the smaller selection.)
Anyway, go here on each server you play on, as the script finds out what techs you have researched on this page, which it will need to correctly predict how many people fit your in your Town Hall, how much buildings cost, what growth rate each of your cities have, and similar. (You may need an occasional visit here as you learn new such techs too; Well Digging, Holiday and Spirit Level all being good examples.)
Here is a fairly typical shot of three useful core features — the building level bubbles, wall clock completion times and (on hovering a building) a tooltip about how much resources and time will be necessary for its next upgrade:

Not hinted at much in this screen shot are two other hidden features: buildings you have enough resources to upgrade right now get a white background tint instead of the yellowish shown here (both in the level bubble and resource needs tooltip), so you can see in an instant which buildings you can upgrade without further ado and not. You may also browse future (and past) upgrade needs, just by moving your mouse over the tooltip and using the scroll wheel. Some buildings (presently Town Hall and Town Wall Smile will show some additional info in the level bubble — for Town Hall, how many more (or fewer, if you downgrade) people would fit compared to the present, and for the Town Wall, its defense bonus, given the current city size. Finally, click the resource tooltip to hit the game docs for the building in question. Next expansion level will be highlighted, so you can see if it brings any feature you want right now (a new unit for the barracks or ship yard, for instance).
Next up, a heavily annotated version of the improved page header (I’ve moved things about ever so sligtly to fit the city’s income, and made mostly everything clickable):

Especially take note of the population indicator: it shows in red when your town hall is getting full (or already is full, in boldface red). More precisely, it will take on the red tint a quarter before you have to start expanding it, if you want it to be completed by the time your growth hits the limit. Hover it for a time estimate of when that happens, and how late you can start expanding and still make it in time not to lose any population growth. It is not yet adapted to the 0.2.0 corruption mechanics, but I believe it gets it about right when you have 0% corruption, at least — so it’s a best case growth scenario indicator, right now. (If you have formulas or input on exactly how to compute how corruption affects growth rate, I am interested. So far, I have not even understood what the corruption indicators mean precisely, nor what things they affect.)
For each resource in the top resource box, clicking the icon goes to your trading post (if you have one) to buy goods of that type, or double-clicking, to sell it. Clicking on the ellipsis for wine will take you to the tavern to adjust settings. For all the other resources you produce, clicking that ellipsis instead brings you to the trading port — from which you might ship goods to your other colonies. Lastly, if the count of how much is in your current stock is a link, it goes to the place that produces it (the sawmill, quarry, vineyard, mine et cetera). I am considering making the rest of them links to the vineyard/quarry et cetera of your first colony that has one (or maybe the one with the most expanded such resource, if you have more than one), but that bit is not implemented yet.
The warehouse tooltip has become a link to the warehouse, and it has an ellipsis naming the number of safe-from-looting resources you can have in it, given its current expansion level.
The final thing I thought I’d mention right now: I have been experimenting a bit with a build queue. It is far from perfect yet, but it is already at a stage of “works a little when you are babysitting the game anyway, helping you remember to start upgrades you were planning”. The secret sauce is alt-clicking a building to put an upgrade to it at the end of the queue, or shift-alt-clicking to put it first:

To use del.icio.us, you need to install two buttons into your browser. We recommend that Internet Explorer users install this simple del.icio.us extension:

I get an error installing the script:
[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) [nsIFileOutputStream.init]” nsresult: “0×80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED)” location: “JS frame :: chrome://greasemonkey/content/utils.js :: getWriteStream :: line 202″ data: no]
Any clue why I get this? You can hit me up on IRC, if you’d like.

The features seem to be working as advertised, and are really pretty sweet. I like the building queue feature a lot. I have discovered one glitch however, that didn’t appear until I started using the queue with buildings being constructed. When using the pull-down menu at the top of the page to select the colony I want to view, most of the time it will display the page for the building being upgraded in the selected colony, and the information at the top of the page will stay with whichever colony I was just on. Sometimes, if I select the colony again it will switch properly; other times I have to select a different colony and then try to cycle back to the original desired colony. Once the bugs are ironed out, this will be a very worthwhile script.

Never mind. I just realized I was clicking on the time/date next to the town name in the drop-down window, and that’s why I was going to the building under construction.
This is a very handy script.

Bug Report: The loot table is great, but the attack counter isn’t functioning properly. The increment works, but the reset/decrement has a time lag. If you feed your combat report into Ikariam Attack Calculator, you’ll get a different report on what can be attacked without being considered pillaging. The lag seems to be several hours.

All of the Kronos functionality stopped working this morning !
I have been using Kronos for more than a month now, without any problems (apart from the known bugs) and now “nothing!”
Anyone that knows what’s going on ?

@NL-Ikariam: Try installing FireBug or WebDeveloper. Sometimes there’s an error in one of the javascript files and greasemonkey won’t execute it.
