Ikariam Tip A Day
In the internet you can find the published formula which determines a player?s overall score:
Total Score points
- Building Material used
- Used Luxury Goods * 2
- Research Points * 3
- Inhabitants * 100
- Used Gold / 4
- Including:
- Completed buildings
- Town hall
- Military counts twice
- Hired trade ships
- Completed researches
The total value is divided by 100
Now you can understand where you need to be more active to get better rankings

here is a bug on the speed server…
if you have, lets just say, a warehouse protection of 500 for marble, and you have 1000 in the trading post for sale, and no other resources, and you, lets say, send out your armies and ships, and someone attacks you, they will take the 500 marble that isnt protected by the warehouse. but! if you look in your warehouse, there will still be 1000 marble.
so, i suggest you try it once or twice. if you find a partner, preferably on the same island, you can do it to get a level up on your palace, or GR or whatever….i would sugest using it on the downlow…they cannot detect it if you use it sparingly and strategically…
so basically, warehouses are useless(for protection, not maximum allowed resources) because with a trading post at a high level, you can leave your contry there wihtout any protection…ppl can pillage all they want, they think theyve won, but you always keep what you have as long as it’s in the warehouse…
you could also play off of someone else, back and forth, and max out your warehouses…
