If you are foolish enough to have a zero military score, don?t come crying via Diplomacy if you get pillaged. Ikariam is based on that.

You might think destroying your harbor protects you but you likely just spent more destroying the harbor than it would cost you to have even the simplest defense of a single ship in your harbor.

Lastly, the best way to get folks like me from pillaging folks like you is to:

1. Have at least a tiny bit of military.
2. Simply ask us to not hit you again.

The worst thing you can do is reply with some form of condescension or sarcasm. That will likely get you hit again, and again. Yep, Ikariam is like Travian in that.

It cost very little to have a few troops and I recommend you create such.

It is silly to destroy your port - as it cost you more to rebuild it than you lost - all of which would not have happened if you had even a tiny bit of military.

One last word of advice, I don?t care how much you have played. Your best option to discourage people like me from taking from people like you is to drop the sarcasm and simply ask us not to attack you. Your attitude in this exchange has encouraged me to attack you again and again. So, if you wish that to be the case, then continue with the attitude.

In the end, it is a game. Suck it up and learn from it. Like I said, 14 marble was worth it and I would gladly do it again if I didn?t have better targets.
